Senior Treasury Manager EMEA (m/f) - Brussels (Belgium)
Our client is a leading US multinational. For their European Headquarters based in Brussels, they are currently looking for Senior Treasury Manager EMEA (m/f). Reporting to the Tax and Treasury Director EMEA, your main responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the in-house bank for all European entities;
- Responsible for cash management, foreign exchange risk management and the payment factory;
- Responsible for the smooth day to day operation of Treasury Back and Front Office through active coordination and execution of the core tacks: in-house bank management, cash position reconciliations, cross border payment processing and deal processing;
- Ensuring consistent quality of service level to the affiliates as well as to European and Corporate Headquarters;
- Managing different Treasury projects especially SAP Treasury implementation, assessment of TMS versus SAP Treasury module, support for Tax planning, …;
- Contributing to optimizing the company’s working capital management;
- Coordination of European receivables and payables cash optimizations programs;
- Responsible for business process reengineering and for change management;
- Supervision of 7 people.
The successful candidate has a University degree in Economic, Finance or equivalent combined with a minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Treasury in an international environment. A previous experience in project and change management is necessary. Experience in US Gaap reporting and knowledge of US Gaap accounting for Treasury transactions are assets. A very good knowledge of English is required; any other European language is a plus. Knowledge of any Treasury Management System is necessary; knowledge of IT2 and SAP FSCM is an asset.

He/she is stress resistant, has a positive attitude and has an eye for details. The successful candidate has outstanding leadership skills and good analytical skills with an ability to work competently with complex models but is able to communicate complex issues in simple terms. He/she has a good balance between assertivity and diplomacy and has a passion for solving problems.
