Our client, an international company is currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller (m/f) to reinforce its finance department in order to sustain the growth of the company based in the West-Flanders region.
Reporting to the Group Controller, your main responsibilities will include:
- In charge of the financial control of the group and operational subsidiaries as well as certain legal entities of the company (analysis of results and performance, financial planning and analysis, cash flow forecast, tax, audit process);
- Providing assistance in the preparation of monthly group reporting to management and board (dashboards, KPI's, projects performance analysis) and analysis of deviations between actual and budget on monthly basis;
- Preparation of yearly group budget and forecasts with analysis and added value comments;
- Providing assistance in financial ad-hoc projects (due diligence, tax structure, process optimization,...);
- Responsible for internal audit missions to subsidiaries.
The successful candidate has a Master in Finance or Economics or equivalent by experience, combined with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in controlling and/or auditing. A previous experience in an audit and international headquarters is an asset. Fluency in Dutch and English is necessary while knowledge of French constitutes a plus. A good knowledge of Excel is required. Exposure to an SAP environment is an advantage and experience with BPC is a plus.
The ideal candidate is accurate, proactive, dynamic and deadline oriented. He/she is able to work autonomously and displays a hands-on attitude. In addition, he/she has good communication skills and demonstrates a stress-resistant and assertive working approach.
